Moshe Uziel, AMIT Success Story, Makes Special Appearance in NJ

Englewood—The AMIT Shalva Chai chapter’s annual Mother-in-Israel evening will feature guest speaker Moshe Uziel, an alumnus of the AMIT Kfar Blatt Youth Village and its new director of the Center for Technology and Leadership Values. The event, honoring Elaine Jacobs, Shira Jacobs and Michal Jacobs, is being held on Tuesday, June 6, at 7:30 p.m.

Uziel serves as a sterling example of how, with unwavering support, love and the right educational tools provided by AMIT, there is no limit to one’s success.

Born into a difficult family life, Moshe found a new home at AMIT Frisch Beit Hayeled at age 7 and went on to live at Kfar Blatt Youth Village as a teenager. He credits AMIT with his accomplishments, with nurturing him and giving him the tools he needed to go on to become a commander in the Israeli army’s elite Golani Brigade.

In the army, his trajectory of success only continued, and he was awarded a scholarship to pursue his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. After 13 years of service in the Israel Defense Forces, Moshe returned to AMIT to fulfill what he calls his mission in life: “inspiring the future of Israel.”

Moshe was recently appointed the new director of the Center for Technology and Leadership Values at Kfar Blatt Youth Village. Run in cooperation with the IDF, the program trains young soldiers to become diagnostic technicians for the tank and armored corps, opening the door to opportunities in the army and in the tech sector afterward.

Moshe will tell his amazing story at the AMIT Shalva Chai chapter’s annual Mother-in-Israel event, which will take place at a private residence in Englewood. For more information contact Aliza Schulman at [email protected] or call 212-477-4730.
