Bet Dovid in Caldwell Presents Vegan Cooking and Nutrition Classes

On Mondays in February, and possibly beyond, Rabbi Donn Gross of Congregation Bet Dovid in Caldwell, New Jersey, will offer classes in vegan cooking and nutrition.

Rabbi Donn, aka “the health rabbi,” has been an outspoken proponent of a meat-free diet for 26 years. Those who have partaken in the Bet Dovid kiddushes, or have been guests at Rabbi Donn’s, know well the delicious tastes of his food. Join Rabbi Donn in the kitchen as he shares his secrets and techniques to empower and enable you to prepare beautifully crafted meals to satisfy all.

By having a mentor and a motivator, by seeing how one shops (the class will go to the store together), by seeing how food is prepared and made, by learning about the massive benefits of a vegan diet and by being with others who have signed on to the philosophy, we learn to gradually make healthy changes because they improve us physically and spiritually. The Bet Dovid cooking and nutrition classes will give you a wholesome and reverent outlook on your life. Take the steps to learn how simple and how stimulating vegan cooking is.

The class will make the food and then feast on it.

$50 covers all food and classes, $15 for individual lessons. The class will meet on February 13, 20, 27 and possibly additional classes.

Class size is limited—first come, first served.
