Bris Avrohom in Hillside was one of the organizers of the Eighth National Russian Shabbaton, held this past President’s Day weekend at the luxurious Crown Plaza Hotel in Stamford, CT. The shabbaton was attended by people from seven countries and 16 states, with approximately 100 guests from Bris Avrohom. Lectures, workshops and panel discussions in both Russian and English were presented, including a separate bilingual singles’ program. MK Sofa Landver, minister of aliyah and immigrant absorption, was the guest speaker on Shabbat.
