The Jewish Link of New Jersey (JLNJ) and its affiliated Jewish Link Media Group are excited and proud to welcome The Shopping Maven into the growing Jewish Link family of publications. The Shopping Maven, founded two years ago by Aaron and Dina Klein of Teaneck, is a glossy-format bi-monthly magazine that is distributed widely in Bergen County. Under the terms of our arrangement, The Shopping Maven will continue to publish on its regular schedule and will work closely together with the Jewish Link of New Jersey as part of the Jewish Link network of publications, which include The Jewish Link of Bronx, Westchester and Connecticut and affiliate print newspapers in Queens, Washington, D.C., and Monsey.

“Our goal in this strategic partnership and merger is to look for ways to ensure that The Shopping Maven continues to grow and deliver exclusive deals and content and also build and expand what we at The Jewish Link can offer to our own advertising base as well,” explained Co-Publisher Moshe Kinderlehrer.

“We see the addition of The Shopping Maven as a win-win for all our readers and advertisers. We had thought about starting a local magazine aimed at our readership but The Shopping Maven has done an excellent job on their own. Adding Aaron Klein to our team and having his magazine become part of our offerings to advertisers made sense to us as we aim to continue our growth.”

Klein, the Shopping Maven’s founder and publisher, noted: “Our new partnership with The Jewish Link will only enhance our efforts to bring exclusive deals, local profiles and fun features to our tight-knit Jewish community. Up until now, we co-existed harmoniously while servicing our community in very different, unique ways, but we recognize that our two companies’ efforts together will make us both stronger.”

Klein continued: “We are very excited about this merger, and we look forward to continued growth of the combined brand locally, and possibly in other regions.
