Kadima campers thrive in a nurturing, enthusiastic, supportive and structured environment. Special attention is given to the social growth, emotional development and physical needs of each individual camper. Campers are home based in air-conditioned classrooms, with most activities taking place outdoors. New this year, camp will be offering native Hebrew-speaking children, ages 3 & 4, with a group led by Hebrew-speaking counselors.

Campers enjoy a wide range of activities in a Jewish environment that encourages independence and growth. Camp activities take place both outdoors and indoors. Special emphasis is placed on development of social skills, self-esteem and sportsmanship. Each day campers entering first grade get the opportunity to choose a regular camp activity they would like to participate in more than once a week. Campers entering second grade enjoy unique programming that reflects their developmental needs and abilities, including more challenging opportunities and adventures such as “majoring” in a special discipline for a two-week period, off-site trips and late nights.

This Israeli summer experience is full of fun, opportunity and unforgettable moments. Campers enjoy a wide range of Hebrew and Israeli cultural activities with native Hebrew-speaking counselors and specialists that include music, scout activities, cooking and more. Campers entering second grade enjoy the challenging opportunity of choosing a “major” for a two-week period offered through the JCC’s Big Idea Specialty Camp, which allow campers to explore nature, science, robotics and more.

Tikvah is designed to meet the special needs of children ages 5-9 with communication, social, behavioral and learning differences. Special attention is given to each camper to ensure a summer filled with enjoyment and learning. Full Day, ½-day and ¾-day options are available.
