Last month, the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School at Congregation AABJ&D received a generous gift of educational technology from Andrea and Bryan Bier and family. The Bier’s gift marked the 30th yahrzeit of their daughter Lauren Elise, for whom the West Orange preschool is named.
The gift includes iPads, related accessories and access to the renowned Osmo curriculum. Osmo is an award-winning system that changes the way a child interacts with the screen by opening it up to hands-on play.
This new program will enhance creative thinking and problem solving skills in a technology-rich environment, providing a solid foundation for young learners. It provides for both differentiated one-on-one and group engagement, and enhances the opportunities the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School can afford its children as they prepare for a lifetime as citizens in a digital world.
