A Mishna a day…every day. That is how Rabbi Eli Cohn’s ninth grade Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) shiur starts off each morning. In fact, even on days that the yeshiva was closed for snow, the boys kept pace by learning the daily mishna via Zoom web conference. Over the course of the year, the shiur finished masechet Kiddushin and has now moved on to learning masechet Megilla. After some delays (and snow days), the shiur celebrated its significant accomplishments with a trip to the World Ice Arena in Queens. The shiur enjoyed a morning of skating and then returned to the yeshiva to learn the final mishna of the masechta over a delicious pizza lunch. Everyone is looking forward to the next siyum.
