Congratulations to the Yavneh seventh grade team of Julia Fried, Yaakov Abrahams, Shira Albert, Chloe Greene and Elisha Levin who placed second in the 12 week Stock Market Game in the fall of 2016. The children spoke at the annual award luncheon on May 4 at Pershing headquarters in Jersey City and received their prizes. They returned almost 11% and turned $100,000 into $110, 823. Their winning stocks included Goldman Sachs and Sodastream. Congratulation to coaches Howard Goldberg, Helen Brueckheimer and Tobi Abrahamson.
