When the nursery morot came into the classroom a few weeks ago with a surprise package, the students were very excited to see five tiny caterpillars. They watched them grow into big caterpillars, form a chrysalis around their bodies and finally, after about a week, emerge as five beautiful Painted Lady butterflies. The butterflies flew around their enclosure, showing the class their colorful, symmetrical splendor. Then it was time to let them join their friends outside.
