Daniel Rothner and Ben Porat Yosef parent, Alisa Kaplan, from the amazing Areyvut organization, facilitated a special program for fifth grade students on Monday, June 12. The students were asked to complete the following statement:“Jewish unity is….” Students were then asked to create works of art based on their individual answers and reflect on the theme of unity among Jews. Students painted hearts, the kotel, images of people holding hands across the world, the colors of the IDF, mountains, sunsets, Israeli flags, Stars of David and various other expressions of Jewish unity.
