The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Gotham Burger would like to recognize 13-year-old Daniella Rothschild as this week’s sportstar of the week. The Yeshivat Noam eighth grader just completed a terrific championship season for the Mitch Gross Basketball League’s Balanced Body Rehabilitation team. Rothschild scored her game high of 26 points in a great team effort with many assists from her sister, Eva.

After the game we caught up with Doug Rothschild, proud father and MGBL coach. Doug told The JLNJ, “I really enjoyed coaching this season. MGBL provides a great opportunity for girls of different ages and schools to work together. Watching Eva and Daniella play together as sisters and teammates was a nice bonus.”

Daniella, congrats on the championship and being recognized as sportstar of the week. Who are your role models and why?
