(Ilana Messika/TPS) Israel Border Police guards operating in East Jerusalem arrested on Monday an Arab resident from the Palestinian territories who revealed during his interrogation he had intended to carry out an attack on the security forces in East Jerusalem.

Border Police guards operating in At-Tur in East Jerusalem, approximately 1 kilometer from the Old City, arrested a bus belonging to the public transportation services of East Jerusalem. They subsequently arrested a youngster who raised suspicions during their searches of the bus. Preliminary investigation on the site revealed that the 19-year-old resident of the Palestinian territories had no legal stay permits and thus was brought for further questioning.
