(NBN) On Monday, August 14, 233 North Americans will board an El Al Boeing 777 chartered by Nefesh B’Nefesh and immigrate to Israel together from JFK Airport. The flight’s other passengers include a diverse mix of people from 19 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces, including 21 families, 75 children, six sets of twins and 26 medical professionals.

A special departure ceremony for the new immigrants will take place at JFK prior to the flight, with notable guests to include: Israel’s Consul General in New York, Ambassador Dani Dayan; The Jewish Agency for Israel’s Director of the Aliyah, Absorption and Special Operations Unit, Yehuda Scharf; a representative of El Al; Chairman of the Israel Scouts, Eli Ben Yosef; and Nefesh B’Nefesh Co-Founders Rabbi Yehoshua Fass and Tony Gelbart.
