J-Inspire Rockland Joins Momentum’s Upcoming Trip to Israel

(Courtesy of Momentum) Each year J-Inspire Rockland, a sister group to Project Inspire, joins the Momentum Trip to Israel—a magnificent trip to Israel for Jewish women with at least one child under the age of 18. We are once again interviewing applicants for the upcoming eight-day trip, scheduled for December, which is designed to inspire Jewish women to grow spiritually while enjoying physical amenities such as four-star hotels, special experiences, cuisine, touring the length and breadth of Israel, Shabbat in Jerusalem and much more. The trip is almost completely subsidized, except for the airfare.

Let’s listen in on what some of our past participants shared:

Suzanne Myers: “This trip connected me to my Jewish identity in so many ways. I have a love for Israel and my Jewish heritage like I never had before. I have new friends and memories to last a lifetime.”

Sheryl Palacio: “At 40 years old, I finally got to go ‘home,’ to the most magical place on Earth. For the first time in my life, I got to experience how it feels to be ‘hugged’ by the land of Israel. The incredibly kind and inspiring women of JWRP have awakened in me the desire to rekindle my relationship with Judaism and share it with my sons.”

Jenn Miller: “This was not my first trip to Israel, but going with a group of amazing women turned it into a completely different experience. Being able to see Israel through new eyes was awesome. Thank you so much for the opportunity and experience of a lifetime.”

Rhonda Benjamin: “Going on the December 2016 J-Inspire trip has been life changing. Not only do I have a new set of ‘sisters’ and close friends from all levels of Jewish observance, but different aspects of Judaism have entered my home and changed my family for the better. I feel very lucky and inspired to be part of this group and I look forward to continued learning with all of you for many years to come.”

The trip to Israel will launch a year-long journey, which continues with monthly classes and fun activities where we enjoy each other’s company, such as challah bakes, painting and get-togethers related to the time of year.
