Cross River Builds With Habitat for Humanity

(Courtesy of Cross River Bank) Employees of Cross River Bank, a New Jersey financial institution known for its innovative use of new technology, participated in a team build recently at Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County.

Cross River volunteers from their public affairs department assisted with a door and trim delivery, sheetrock and interior painting of four homes, two for veterans and two for seniors in the Township of Washington. Habitat provides quality, affordable homes for hardworking Bergen County families by joining with other affiliates to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness.

“Our employees are dedicated to their work, but equally important, they are committed to making a positive impact in the community,” said Phil Goldfeder, SVP public affairs at Cross River. “It was an absolute pleasure to partner with Habitat for Humanity and contribute to their tireless mission to provide affordable housing to families in need.”

“We are always enthusiastic to create new partnerships with local businesses like Cross River and we look forward to developing these community alliances to help promote the good work they do in and out of the office,” said Angela King, Habitat Bergen’s executive director of volunteers.
