Yeshivat He’Atid Hosts Scholarship FunRun

(Courtesy of Yeshiva He’Atid) This weekend Yeshivat He’Atid held its annual year-end scholarship fundraiser—the FunRun—at the school’s location at 1500 Queen Anne Road, in Teaneck, New Jersey. This year a splash of fun was added by making it a water run!

Yeshivat He’Atid has become well known in the community for offering a high-quality education at a significantly lower cost than other local yeshivot. Despite its low cost, there are still scholarship needs, and Yeshivat He’Atid takes its mission of making a Jewish day school education accessible to every family very seriously. Yeshivat He’Atid fulfills scholarship needs solely from voluntary fundraising efforts, such as the FunRun.

The 2019 FunRun had everything from an inflatable water slide and foam pit to a fire truck spraying water! Everyone had a blast—students, staff, siblings, parents—all soaked through and through! The FunRun was a great success, with a jam-packed event raising over $100,000! These funds will be used to ensure that those in need will not be turned away from the school because of financial constraints.

When Yeshivat He’Atid opened its doors in the fall of 2012, there were 116 students enrolled. For the upcoming year, there will be over 550 students signed up to attend. Yeshivat He’Atid looks forward to many more years serving the Jewish community and many more successful FunRun events in the future!
