(Courtesy of Kaplen JCC on the Palisades) The Patron of the Arts Program at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades and the Kaplen Foundation are holding a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly event on Wednesday, December 18, at 7 p.m., featuring Super Bowl champion Alan Veingrad, who will share the inspiring story of how he repeatedly overcame adversity and went on to achieve Super Bowl glory and a rewarding life and career from the lessons he learned in the NFL. A captivating speaker and storyteller, Alan will share the details of being a skinny, Jewish kid from Miami who battled his way to Super Bowl stardom. As a celebrated motivational speaker, Alan will also engage with the audience and share his secret strategies for helping others transform their lives to greatness as well.

“We are extremely excited to have Alan Veingrad speak at the JCC,” said JCC CEO Jordan Shenker. “Our Patron of the Arts program always looks to feature speakers who can educate, inspire and engage our community, and drawing a Super Bowl legend like Alan Veingrad makes us proud. It is sure to be a highly motivational and uplifting evening for everyone who attends.”

Alan Veingrad enjoyed a successful, seven-year career as an offensive lineman in the NFL, first with the Green Bay Packers and then the Dallas Cowboys, with whom he won Super Bowl XXVII. Since his days on the field, Alan has become a well-recognized and sought-after keynote speaker on the topics of motivation, teamwork and overcoming adversity. He has shared his inspirational messages of positivism, personal excellence, team play and leadership with Fortune 500 companies, professional services firms, non-profit organizations and business audiences worldwide. He is known for his candor and charisma, and his ability to keep audiences spellbound, while he speaks of the intense training, ruthless competitive atmosphere and performance requirements of professional NFL athletes.
