Last Friday, Andy Gross, executive director of the New Jersey-Israel Commission, JLNJ Co-Publisher Moshe Kinderlehrer, Sarri Singer, founder of Strength to Strength and Michael Cohen, Englewood councilman and the eastern director of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, gathered together for an early lunch at Sammy’s Bagels in Teaneck. The lunch, which was put together as a show of solidarity and unity, was specifically held at Sammy’s in light of the incident there two weeks ago. The conversation at the lunch focused on a number of Jewish community issues such as anti-Semitism and the group resolved to meet again in the future. The get-together was organized by Avi Posnick, of Stand With Us, though he was unable to attend.
