(Courtesy of Kaplen JCC on the Palisades) The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is holding a free, exhilarating Saturday-Night Zumba Dance Party on February 8, 7:30-9 p.m. One of the best options out there for endorphin-boosting, heart-healthy fun, Zumba combines Latin, Hip-Hop, African, Israeli and pop music to produce a high-energy blend of music and great dance moves. The party will be led by a team of expert JCC Zumba instructors, who will lead people aged 12 and up through a 90-minute session of easy-to-follow moves, allowing everyone from beginners to serious dance lovers to take part in a one-of-a-kind, not-to-be-missed fitness party that is sure to help people dance the winter blues away. This event is free and open to the community. Ages 12+ and beginners are welcome.

“In an effort to encourage people to engage in more healthful activities, we always look to feature a wide variety of fitness options,” says Hagit Tal, group exercise director. “Zumba is one great option, because it provides great music and dance routines that are fun to learn. It also offers a great cardio workout that incorporates high and low aerobic intervals and an appealing routine that keeps people motivated. And keeping people motivated is our goal.”

Even though the event is free, please reserve your spot at www.jccotp.org/saturdaynightzumba.
