BPY 6th and 7th graders were visited by Holocaust survivors Goldie Schwartz and Rachel Gotleib as part of the school’s Yom Hashoah commemoration. The women spoke about their experiences in the concentration camps and told stories of heroism and miracles and impressed the students with the message of “never forget.”  All in attendance found their visit to the school inspiring.  Pictured here (left to right): Julia Kohen, Sandra Kaplan, Debbie Schwartz (teacher), Derek Schwartz, Shlomo Meisels, and Eitan Benhamu.
