Hydrochic 2016 Collection to Include Modest Options

With the cold weather suddenly upon us, snowbirds are preparing to head to warmer climates and families are busy planning their yeshiva week vacations. To enhance their clothing options, HydroChic, a leader in modest and sun-protective convertible swimwear, has launched its 2016 resort wear line featuring vibrant colors, shape-enhancing patterns and color-blocking, in fashion-forward silhouettes that offer women styling options for a range of protection and coverage.

The collection’s new cruise wear color palette includes deep shades of coral orange, violet and jade. These solids are primarily used in color blocking, along with subtle geometrics that accent silhouettes on sleeves, side panels and, as trim, to flatter every figure. Solids, in black and color, create an illusion that smooths, conceals and complements at the same time.

The complete line features more than 100 styles including short sleeve, long sleeve and sleeveless tops (sold with several bra or mastectomy options), versatile swim skirts and skorts from 15”-27,” shorts, pants and swim dresses, as well as transitional pieces that can be worn from beach to boardwalk, including lightweight jackets and sun dresses.

Made from high-quality, quick-drying fabrics that provide SPF 50+ UV protection and superior Ultra® chlorine resistance, HydroChic’s collection of swimwear for missy, plus and young girls converts to gym wear by adding coordinating silhouettes from the collection. For winter indoor water sports, HydroChic’s line holds up especially well in swimming pools, and is perfect for water exercises, water zumba and water-based spinning.

“HydroChic is designed to enhance a woman’s natural beauty and body, while offering a range of protection and modesty options that fit her lifestyle,” says HydroChic co-founder Sara Wolf. “Many women of all ages are seeking alternative swim solutions to the traditional bathing suit, because, let’s face it, we can’t all wear a bikini.

It used to be that women would wear their husbands’ oversized T-shirt, or something comparable, on the beach and in the water for extra coverage and sun protection. HydroChic offers a fashionable, comfortable and wearable alternative that women of all ages, shapes, sizes and religious orientation desire, as evidenced by our growing customer base.”

HydroChic is catching on. A Wall Street Journal article last summer called attention to the success of HydroChic and this growing market segment, as well as The Chicago Tribune http://bit.ly/1MjYqAX and VOGUE, which recently featured two articles about the trend in modest fashion.

In a recent study of “bathing suit anxiety,” it was found that women preferred to go to the dentist or visit their mother-in-law rather than try on bathing suits! “Now, we can empower women of every age with swimwear options so they can feel comfortable and confident. It’s extremely gratifying to offer women water wear that doesn’t provoke anxiety, and swim solutions she can feel confident in by offering choices,” says Wolf.

“We also photograph female models of varying shapes and sizes in our swimwear photo shoots to reflect real women, and to demonstrate how versatile HydroChic is,” she adds.

HydroChic is available at select stores throughout the US, Canada, Australia and Israel, and online at www.hydrochic.com.
