Jeff Chaitoff, founder of C-Staff Solutions, a staffing company based in Orlando, Florida, has been assisting companies recruit valuable employees in almost every industry for more than two decades. Chaitoff received a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Rutgers University and earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wurzweiler School of Social Work. He also has semicha from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) and served as a chaplain in the United States Army. Recently, he and his family relocated from Highland Park to Orlando where he is passionate about growing both his business and the Jewish community.

Chaitoff is no stranger to international trade, having spent many years travelling back and forth to Asia, specifically Shanghai, where he oversaw HR/recruitment and operations for a company who had an large office there. “Most companies are seeking diversity in their employees,” he explained. According to Chaitoff, what makes him good at what he does comes from researching the companies he represents and getting to know the candidates he screens. His background certainly offers an undeniable advantage to the process. His academic training has provided the foundation for the interpersonal connections he believes are so critical in this field. “I’m a straightforward kind of guy,” said Chaitoff, who at the end of the day aims to satisfy both the employer and the candidate. “My nickname is the honest broker,” he joked. But in all seriousness, he said he believes the secret to success is building honest and sincere relationships with his clients.
Chaitoff prides himself on skillfully drawing out the nuances that companies and candidates are seeking to secure a successful connection. He takes the time to learn about each company so that he can honestly and enthusiastically educate candidates before potential interviews, providing a level of excitement and confidence about the prospective opportunity.
Three years ago the Chaitoffs left their cherished Highland Park community for Orlando. Spending many years vacationing in Florida, Chaitoff saw an opportunity to develop his business there and ultimately decided to relocate with his wife Chani and their four children. Since moving, they have invested themselves in becoming active members of the Orlando Jewish community. “I think we have been without guests only five times since moving here,” recalled Chaitoff, who has been involved in everything from recruiting new members to the Orlando Torah Center as well as expanding the kosher menu available at Winn Dixie, a popular food chain in the area. “Chani and I often think of ourselves like shlichim, here on a mission,” he said.
These days, much of his business is conducted via phone or email, enabling C-Staff to provide invaluable services to those at a distance. The majority of Chaitoff’s clients are in the tri-state area and so is most of his immediate family, bringing him back to New Jersey on a fairly regular basis.
