Teaneck’s Newest Landmark Delights Residents

(Courtesy of Teaneck Square) Once in a generation an event transforms the look, feel and energy of an entire town. This moment has come to Teaneck, New Jersey with the grand opening of Teaneck’s very own modern apartment residences, aptly named Teaneck Square. “The building is called Teaneck Square,” says developer Avram Holzer, “because it is in the center of the Town Square—in the center of it all.”

The building developer is a longtime Teaneck resident who knew exactly what his clientele would crave in an apartment building: the ultimate in comfort and convenience right next to a walkable downtown, featuring everything from cozy cafes to delicious sushi. The building is located at 1480 Queen Anne Road, a two-minute walk from Votee Park and Teaneck delights like Mocha Blue, Lazy Bean Café and Sushi Metsuyan.

The building subscribes to the Goldilocks theory: not too big, not too small. “I feel like I’m at camp,” says, resident Doris Oppenheimer. “I love it. I’m making so many friends and meeting so many new people. The transition was seamless, and it was one of my best life moves. Over the weekend you hang out together and it’s just fun.”

Avram echoes these sentiments, saying, “We want to know everyone’s name and cater to their every need, while at the same time providing them with the comforts of home… just as we would want in our own home.”

There is, indeed, plenty of comfort to write home about. The apartments feature designer kitchens with quartz countertops and double sinks, floor-to-ceiling windows that have window treatments, covered parking with reserved spaces for residents, a fitness center, a CoWorking Lounge with Ping Pong, Foosball and Air Hockey. The Lounge can be rented by residents for parties, as well. Outside, residents are pampered with landscaping and social spaces for seating. Inside, a concierge is being brought on staff to care of packages and welcome residents home with a smile.

There’s a phrase whispered in the air here, that “Quality is in the details.” The phrase rings true as one walks through the refined apartments and notices the soundproof windows and walls of each unit, the ambient lighting, and the stainless-steel appliances. The premium quality is carried through by the 24/7 onsite maintenance staff, package room, and Shabbos elevator. It is the little touches that speak volumes.

When you retreat to your residence after a busy day at work, you are only moments away from the walkable downtown, but you feel like you’re in a quiet, private spa because the soundproof windows block all of the noise. For those who need access to New York City, Manhattan is only 11 miles away by car and there is a bus stop on the corner of State Street and Queen Anne Road. Teaneck Square is truly a modern building built for the modern age. The smiles on the resident’s faces seem to say it best: Teaneck’s transformational moment has arrived, and not a moment too soon.
