On Sunday, September 8, new eighth grade students attended orientation and registration at the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies (BCHSJS). After several ice-breakers in which students got to meet each other and have a quick snack, the students, together with their teacher and the principal, boarded a bus for an afternoon of bowling at Bowler City in Hackensack.

The Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies is a regional Hebrew High School for students in grades eight through 12. In addition to weekly classes, there are social activities, community service opportunities and shabbatonim. Registration is still open. Call 201-488-0834 for more information or visit www.bchsjs.org.
