RYNJ first grade students learned that the first element in art is a line. After a read aloud of the book “The Red String” by Margot Blair, students got to work. Just as the book traces the adventures of a red string as it winds its way around the world—without a word of text—so too RYNJ artists created masterpieces using a red string as their springboard.
