What a special experience it was for the Moriah early childhood children to participate in the Moriah School Early Childhood Bake Sale, in memory of Evan Levy, a”h. The children understood that the money raised would go to tzedaka, the Evan Levy Fund. The Evan Levy Fund, in partnership with Chai Lifeline, provides financial assistance to parents overcome by the monetary constraints of caring for a sick child.

Throughout last week each class planned and mixed and rolled and sprinkled—and the results were so yummy! All of the amazing items prepared were brought together for the bake sale on Friday.

The children had opportunities to be both “buyers” and “sellers” of the luscious items. They were very excited to participate and bring home yummy treats. May we all continue to have opportunities to do mitzvot.
