Last week in Gan Chaverim, the children went on a search to find all the oil jugs hidden around the school. Each jug contained a Hebrew letter and every child found at least one. Back in the classroom, the students were challenged to try to form the word חנוכה. They looked for friends who had the remaining letters in the word and were able to form groups spelling out חנוכה. But what does חנוכה spell? The children tried sounding out the letters and realized they spelled Chanukah! This discovery led to dancing and singing Chanukah songs! Kol hakavod Gan Chaverim!
