The Bruriah A team has had a busy and productive two weeks. Their run started in Elizabeth when they matched up with the Hillel Hurricanes. Hillel came out firing and scored the first 4 points of the game, Bruriah responded by going on an 11-2 run. The Lightning never looked back and increased its lead to as much as 19 several times during the game.

Nikki Bick and Dani Berlin led the Lightning offense. Penina Abramov, Ally Orgel, Michall

Hyman, and Arielle Wenig led the Lightning defense.

The Lightning then took to the road with stops in Livingston and Teaneck. Both games saw Bruriah take the early lead, defeating Kushner and Maayanot. Tenacious defense and a well-balanced offensive attack have landed the 5-2 Lightning in a second place tie with two games still to play before winter break.
