Teaneck Doghouse Sportstar of the Week: David Itzhaki

The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Teaneck Doghouse would like to recognize 10-year-old David Itzhaki as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The fourth grader at the Moriah School of Englewood recently completed a terrific season for the MGBL Coolkippahs team. When asked about Itzhaki, Coolkippahs coach Saul Stepner told the JLNJ, “He has been a great asset to our team for both his play and also his support of teammates. I can recall times when a teammate felt bad about something they did in a game and David was there to tell them that it’s OK and not to worry about it. Just an overall positive attitude which is something we try to teach in MGBL. “
