The Mitch Gross Basketball League (MGBL) strives to teach all participants basketball fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and being menschen on the court. All of these attributes and thensome were on display when team Rock ’n Roll’s Gilad Jutkowitz took the court in the first round game of the second grade boys playoffs.
Jutkowitz led his team in points, rebounds, and assists, but his unselfish style of play eartned him this week’s JLBC honors. The referee even noted on several occasions “that he could have just taken that shot, and probably would have hit it, but instead looked to set up a teammate.”
