The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Teaneck Doghouse would like to recognize 11-year-old Raizel Reva Kleinman as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The Yeshivat He’Atid sixth grader was one of the many standout players at this summer’s Sportstar Select @Camp Shalom New Jersey Program. When asked about Kleinman, Sportstar Select Program Director Steve Gutlove told the JLNJ, “Raizel Reva is the type of player every coach wants to work with. She brings to the table a combination of natural ability, an eagerness to improve and the determination to work hard. However, in my opinion what makes Raizel Reva a true Sportstar is less about how she performs on the court and more about the way she treated everyone around her. She was always positive and could often be found providing words of encouragement or helpful suggestions to both teammates and opponents. She worked very hard this summer and I have no doubt she is destined for future greatness both on and off of the court.”
