Kushner Academy captured it’s third straight Wittenberg team title this past weekend. Led by champions Max Ostroff, Jacob Elstein, Max Yarkony, Joey Dresdner, Yitzy Peret and Ilan Cohen, the cobras soundly defeated the rest of the competition scoring a total of 265.5 points.

Ostroff became Kushner’s first freshman ever to win the tournament. Elstein, Peret and Yarkony will all graduate as two time Wittenberg champions.

Other strong performances included senior Jeremy Katz who finished in second place, Ethan Wolfkoff who finished in second place and Hanoch Elkin who took home a second place as well. Joseph Wolkoff, Yoni Ifrah and Tani Shecter finished in third place and freshman Arnie Ginsberg had a strong showing placing fourth. Other freshman, Jacob Sabag and Justin Levine, also competed well and gained valuable experience.

I am very proud of all these guys. I pushed them hard all year and they responded well. Hopefully we can continue this success for years to come.
