In a thriller that only MYHSL Boys Volleyball could provide, the #3 seeded SAR Sting took down the #2 seeded Frisch Cougars in Paramus.
The match started out with Frisch in complete control. Point after point, it seemed that Frisch’s lead in the first set would result in certain victory. But with the score locked at 23-17 in favor of Frisch, the Sting went on a ferocious rally and were able to tie the score at 24 before eventually stealing the set, 26-24.
With momentum in SAR’s favor, SAR put up a dominating second set, winning by a final of 25-16, and securing its spot in the championship game against North Shore Hebrew High School.
The final game should be a great matchup, to be played in Yeshiva University’s MSAC.
